Inspired by Highway 395, each trip blends jaw dropping landscapes, hidden gems, and curated stops with expert guides and a camping concierge approach that handles all the details. It’s the perfect mix of exploration, comfort, and connection in one unforgettable experience.
Itinerary Details
Day 1: Destination - Trona Pinnacles
- 7AM - Rendezvous in Encinitas + load the van
- 8AM - Depart for Trona Pinnacles
- 12PM - Lunch at Ale's Steakhouse & Bar in Ridgecrest
- 2PM - Arrive at Trona Pinnacles
- Activities: Mountain Bike + Explore the Pinnacles
- 6PM - Campfire + Dinner (GOOD TO GO - Thai Curry) + S'mores
Next Day Details
- Short walk and easy / flat bike ride on gravel through Pinnacles
- Enjoy the incredible light show the Universe puts on after dusk

- 10AM - Depart for Alabama Hills
- 12PM - Arrive at Alabama Hills and Lunch (Deli Sandwich)
- Activities: Mountain Bike + Arch Hunting
- Check out Movie Road (home to many old westerns)
- 6PM - Campfire + Dinner (Brian's Famous BBQ Cardiff Crack Tri Tip)
Next Day Details
- Drive Movie Road upon arrival
- Hike Mobius Arch Loop Trail - 0.6 miles
- Mountain Bike Upper Alabama Hills Trail - 5.8 miles

- 10AM - Depart for Big Pine Lakes
- 12PM - Arrive at Big Pine Lakes and Lunch (Chicken + Rice)
- Activities: Hike to multiple lakes + Fish (gear provided)
- For Non Hikers - Relax around Camp
- 7PM - Campfire + Dinner (Ramen)
- Legendary Big Pine Lakes Hike - 16 mile round-trip trek leads you past roaring waterfalls, steep switchbacks, and jaw-dropping mountain views.
- Temple Crag view from Lake 2 makes this trip worth it by itself

- 6PM - Campfire + Dinner (Hobo Chili) + S'mores
Next Day Details
- Wild Willy Hot Springs
- SUP Session around unique geological formations
- Hobo Chili, also known as Mulligan Stew, is comprised of Fritos + Chips + Classic Chili

- Fossil Falls is right off the 395 - Great place to stretch legs
- Short hike to the Lava Flows
