Day 1: Sedona - Unreal Vibes 

There’s nothing quite like hitting the open road in our Van Voyage adventure van; chasing sunsets and waking up to most breathtaking desert landscapes! If you’re craving a journey filled with red rock canyons, towering cliffs, and starry skies, this 5-day van camping trip is the perfect escape.

 Itinerary Details

Day 1: Destination - Sedona, Arizona

  • 6AM - Rendezvous in Encinitas and load the van
  • 7AM - Depart for Sedona, Arizona
  • 12PM - Lunch on the road (Deli Sandwich)
  • 3PM - Arrive in Sedona, Arizona
  • Activities: Hike + Explore + Energy Vortexes
  • Dispersed camping at Loy Butte Road (FR 525)
  • 7PM - Campfire + Dinner (GOOD TO GO - Thai Curry) + S'mores 

Next Day Details

  • Hike Cathedral Rock Hike - short but steep, strenuous 1.1 to 1.2-mile
  • Hike Devil’s Bridge (natural bridge) - 3.9 to 4.6 miles (about 2–3 hours) from the main Dry Creek Vista Trailhead

Day 2: Destination - Grand Canyon

  • 7AM - Breakfast (Egg and Potato Breakfast Scramble)
  • 8AM - Depart for Grand Canyon
  • 11AM - Arrive and Lunch (Deli / PB&J Sandwich) at Grand Canyon
  • Activities: Epic Drive + Viewpoints + Hiking
  • Dispersed camping just outside the park in Kaibab National Forest
  • 6PM - Campfire + Dinner (Ramen) + S'mores 

Next Day Details

  • On the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Desert View Drive has stunning viewpoints like Moran Point + Navajo Point.
  • Hike Ooh Aah Point (0.9 miles) or Cedar Ridge (3 miles) for breathtaking views.

  • 7AM - Breakfast (Breakfast Sandwich)
  • 8AM - Depart for Page, Arizona
  • 12PM - Arrive and Lunch (Deli / PB&J Sandwich)
  • Activities: Photography + Hiking + SUP
  • Settle in at Lone Rock Beach 
  • 7PM - Campfire + Dinner (Brian's famous Tri Tip)
  • World famous photography at Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon
  • Hike along the edges of Lake Powell starting at Lone Rock Beach
  • The Stand Uo Paddleboarding in Lake Powell is world class

Day 4: Zion National Park

  • 8AM - Breakfast (American Breakfast - Eggs + Bacon)
  • 9AM - Depart for Zion National Park 
  • 12PM - Arrive and Lunch (Quesadilla) at Zion
  • Tons of Dispersed Camping on Zion Scenic Byway
  • 6PM - Campfire + Dinner (Hobo Chili) + S'mores
  • (optional campground: Kolob Campground)

Next Day Details

  • The best hike in Zion is Angels Landing (permit required)
  • The Narrows Hike is great 
  • Hobo Chili, also known as Mulligan Stew, is comprised of Fritos + Chips + Classic Chili

  • 8AM - Another SUP Session
  • 9AM - Pack the van
  • 10PM - Depart for Home
  • 1pm - Break spot at Fossil Falls
  • 5PM - IN-N-OUT Dinner 
  • 7PM - Back home

  • Endless Summer has a full size bed inside that sleeps 2 and a rooftop tent that sleeps 2
  • Drifter has a full size bed inside that sleeps 2 and a inflatable air mattress inside that sleeps 1
  • We provide additional ground tents 
  • Typically a rotation between the beds and tent works smoothly
